Part-Time Must have open availability Summary The Merchandise Sales Associate is responsible for generating sales by providing the customer with an exceptional shopping experience. Maximizes non-marijuana sales by delivering efficient, friendly and knowledgeable service and ensures the store is neat, clean and well-presented at all times. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Professionally handling and advising customers of products and services resulting in the achievement of store sales targets. Assess customer needs and provide assistance and information on product features. Recommends merchandise based on product knowledge and customer preferences. Work well and support co-workers to ensure outstanding service and sales. Maintain visual merchandising standards. Remain knowledgeable about products offered and discuss available options. Comply with inventory control procedures. Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures. Cleans display cases, shelves, and aisles as needed. Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure. Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Daily compliance with company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules . Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software.
