Job Description
Employnet is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate with experience using precision measuring equipment to support production and quality operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inspection processes, blueprint reading, and dimensional verification. Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment and perform production tasks according to work instructions and quality standards.
- Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect and verify product dimensions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Record measurement data and maintain accurate production and inspection documentation.
- Identify non-conforming materials and communicate quality concerns to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Previous manufacturing, production, machining, or quality inspection experience preferred.
- Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Experience operating and interpreting results from a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Basic computer skills and experience documenting inspection results.
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards.
- Experience in CNC machining, aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing environments.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
