Employment Type Full-Time What You Do Work as a team member to resolve minor repair functions Assists Technicians with repairs and adjustment to equipment and facilities as directed by the maintenance supervisor Performs assigned tasks with a high sense of urgency Provides assistance to technicians with preventative maintenance (PM) according to schedules; cleans and lubricates, checks fluid levels on equipment to minimize downtime Assembling and moving furniture to keep the facility operating. Changing light bulbs mounting hardware and painting to keep the facility clean and presentable. Performs general cleanup and other tasks as assigned Practices safe work habits while protecting company assets and promoting corporate safety policies Exposure to working at heights and use of ladders, Man lifts, Forklifts, Carts while following safety guidelines when these conditions are present Work environment may include working around moving mechanical parts, caustic chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, extreme heat or extreme cold, and outside weather conditions, and consistently follows safety guidelines when these conditions are present Maintains battery change log. Responsibilities and Duties Conduct flight training sessions for foreign Airforce pilots in the Pilatus PC-12, including ground school, flight maneuvers, and system operations, Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections of the PC-12 to ensure airworthiness and safety. Educate students on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and regulatory requirements. Provide advanced instruction on the Pilatus PC-12's systems, operations, and performance characteristics. Conduct training sessions that focus on the unique aspects of the PC-12, including single-engine operations, turbine engine management, and cargo handling. Ensure familiarity with the aircraft's avionics suite and demonstrate proficiency in its use. Conduct CFI and CFII training to selected students who will be assigned as Instructor Pilots and Instrument Instructor Pilots for the Pilatus PC-12. Qualifications and Skills FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI). FAA Certified Flight Instructor- Instrument (CFII). Qualified under FAA Part 141 or Part 142 and 1000-hours flight time and 100 instructing in aircraft. Excepted under FAA Part 141 or Part 142 with two years prior experience as a military instructor. Alternate qualification: former military instructor pilots who qualify under FAA Part 61.73 A valid Class 1 or Class 2 medical certificate with Instrument Rating (IR). As a Maintenance Assistant, you will perform daily maintenance functions such as minor repairs, cleaning, lubrication, assisting and partnering with Maintenance Technicians with various repairs and projects as well as operating warehouse equipment such as: Floor scrubber, Cardboard baler, Cardboard compactor, forklift battery changer and various types of lift equipment.

What You Do

  • Work as a team member to resolve minor repair functions
  • Assists Technicians with repairs and adjustment to equipment and facilities as directed by the maintenance supervisor
  • Performs assigned tasks with a high sense of urgency
  • Provides assistance to technicians with preventative maintenance (PM) according to schedules; cleans and lubricates, checks fluid levels on equipment to minimize downtime
  • Assembling and moving furniture to keep the facility operating.
  • Changing light bulbs mounting hardware and painting to keep the facility clean and presentable.
  • Performs general cleanup and other tasks as assigned
  • Practices safe work habits while protecting company assets and promoting corporate safety policies
  • Exposure to working at heights and use of ladders, Man lifts, Forklifts, Carts while following safety guidelines when these conditions are present
  • Work environment may include working around moving mechanical parts, caustic chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, extreme heat or extreme cold, and outside weather conditions, and consistently follows safety guidelines when these conditions are present
  • Maintains battery change log.
  • Assists Technicians with general upkeep of conveyor systems, racking, dock doors, and lighting throughout the warehouse
  • Supports cleaning and care of mechanical areas, battery charging areas, and utility closets
  • Assist with snow removal and other seasonal maintenance tasks

Knowledge & Experience

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing as well as follow directions in a detailed and accurate manner
  • General mechanical knowledge and/or mechanical aptitude
  • Comfortable working with and around machinery; working at heights
  • Experience driving forklifts and other lifting equipment, and other machinery
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Safety knowledge and awareness; ability to identify and communicate hazards conscious team player and maintain a strong sense of urgency
  • Continuous body movement and the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift, push, and pull a maximum of 50 lbs; experience with team lifts/lifting procedures
  • Flexibility to work overtime to meet business requirements
  • Basic knowledge on proper use of basic hand tools (power tools preferred)
  • Communicate to all levels of employees and management in an effective manner
  • Can multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Has demonstrated the ability to work in a safe manner
  • Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or industrial maintenance environment OR related mechanical experience required
  • Experience with basic facility maintenance tasks such as painting, light plumbing, or minor electrical work
