Job Title: Enterprise Business Development Manager

Reports To: Senior VP of Sales

Position Type: Full-time

Our clients include a diverse mix of industry leaders in healthcare, hospitality, government, higher education, retail, and manufacturing facilities. Phigenics does not sell water treatment chemicals and is not biased toward any treatment technology or supplier.

Position Overview:

The Enterprise Business Development Manager will focus on expanding our customer base within large hospitality organizations and fostering long-term partnerships. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of exceeding sales goals, strong negotiation skills, and expertise in solution-selling to enterprise-level hospitality clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to penetrate enterprise hospitality markets, focusing on revenue growth and client acquisition.
  • Build, nurture, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within hotel groups, resorts, and hospitality enterprises.
  • Understand client needs and collaborate with internal teams to propose tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Identify and qualify leads through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and industry events to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with enterprise clients to maximize upselling, cross-selling, and renewal opportunities.
  • Stay informed about hospitality market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of client solutions.
  • Track sales metrics, provide regular updates to leadership, and leverage data to optimize business development efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in enterprise sales or business development (5+ years), with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience selling to medium- to large-scale hospitality organizations preferred.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to inform strategies.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility with C-suite executives and other high-level stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce or similar) and sales methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, up to 30% of the time.
