Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist in the blasting process by safely installing detonator caps and boosters at the correct stem height

  • Operate skid steer efficiently to fill blast holes with crush or drill cuttings

  • Perform physical tasks in outdoor conditions, including standing, bending, and kneeling

  • Operate skid steer or rock truck to support safe and effective blasting operations

  • Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with team members across multiple disciplines

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in mining or heavy equipment operations is an

  • Familiarity with machinery such as skid steer and rock truck preferred

  • Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow in your career

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing

  • Valid MSHA P. 48 with surface, metal and non - metal is desired but not required

Work Conditions

  • 4 days on with 3 days off, working 11.5 hour days

  • Overtime rates apply after 40 hours per week and are paid at time and a half
