Salary Range $89,000.00 - $141,875.00 Overview As a member of the Yale Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Science, the optometrist follows best practice standards to diagnose and treat eye conditions in the Yale New Haven Pediatric Specialty Centers. They also educate patients on preventive healthcare and chronic disease. The position will support the Yale Medicine Pediatric Ophthalmology Program located at the Yale New-Haven Hospital Pediatric Specialty Centers in Norwalk and Greenwich. Travel to other clinical sites may be needed at times for clinical coverage, training, meetings, etc.management, providing seamless, coordinated, compassionate, patient-centered care at every encounter. Reporting to both the Director of Optometry and the Associate Director of Administration, the Optometrist adheres to the clinic manager's guidance and policies at clinical locations. Required Education and Experience Doctor of Optometry Degree and two years of experience as an optometrist or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Overview As a member of the Yale Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Science, the optometrist follows best practice standards to diagnose and treat eye conditions in the Yale New Haven Pediatric Specialty Centers.
