Job Description:

Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to serve at Oak Crossing, Essentia Health's highly rated long-term care facility in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. As a CNA at our facility, you will enjoy flexible scheduling that works for you! Every other weekend and a holiday rotation are required. CNAs who commit to 16 hours or more weekly qualify for a $1500 sign-on bonus.

What You'll Do:

Responsible for providing direct care to skilled nursing facility residents and for serving the needs of residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, within the scope of the nursing assistant role. Provides personal hygiene care, assists with providing for nutritional needs; recognizes and deals with the problems of the aging process, recognizes and promptly report changes in resident condition to shift nurse, and maintains a safe, clean, attractive, and neat environment for the residents. Must be aware of and prevent the abuse of vulnerable adults in the care of the Essentia Health skilled nursing facility. Maintains awareness of safety issues and strives to accomplish all responsibilities in a safe manner. Identifies safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective actions.
