Associate Professor / Director of Nursing Program Department of Health Sciences and Nursing Eastern Connecticut State University is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the Director of the Nursing Program position. Eastern is Connecticut’s Public Liberal Arts University and is located in Willimantic, Connecticut which is 1.5 hours from Boston and 2.5 hours from New York City. Eastern is one of four universities in the Connecticut State College and University System (CSCU). The position also offers substantial health and retirement benefits. Eastern Connecticut State University is searching a Director of Nursing to serve as its Chief Nursing Administrator, who will oversee the mission, goals, and expected program outcomes of thenursing program. The Director will provide effective leadership to the Nursing Program, which is part of the Department of Health Sciences and Nursing, including managing the curriculum, accreditation process, academic program improvement, and the Program's financial affairs. The Director of Nursing will also work to establish and maintain community partnerships. Working with faculty and staff, the Director of Nursing will ensure the program achieves its mission, goals, and expected program outcomes. Eastern is Connecticut’s Public Liberal Arts University and is located in Willimantic, Connecticut which is 1.5 hours from Boston and 2.5 hours from New York City.  Eastern is one of four universities in the Connecticut State College and University System (CSCU). Eastern Connecticut State University is searching a Director of Nursing to serve as its Chief Nursing Administrator, who will oversee the mission, goals, and expected program outcomes of thenursing program. The Director will provide effective leadership to the Nursing Program, which is part of the Department of Health Sciences and Nursing, including managing the curriculum, accreditation process, academic program improvement, and the Program's financial affairs. The Director of Nursing will also work to establish and maintain community partnerships. Working with faculty and staff, the Director of Nursing will ensure the program achieves its mission, goals, and expected program outcomes. This is a 12-month position.Required Qualifications
