Keep track of residents' locations, remind them to sign out when leaving, and promptly report if a resident cannot be located. Promote teamwork through positive interactions with co-workers. Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene. Attend all required in-service training sessions. Be an active member of the community’s emergency response team. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Current CNA certification. High School diploma or GED required. Current CPR certification. 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and dining, while encouraging independence and respect.
  • Serve meals in the dining room or residents' apartments, assist in meal preparation, and promote proper nutrition and hydration, respecting residents' right to free choice.
  • Participate in and initiate leisure activities, encouraging residents to socialize and form friendships.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, documenting leisure activities, incidents, observations, and changes in residents' conditions.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment by performing general housekeeping duties.
  • Follow proper procedures during emergencies and respond promptly to resident requests for assistance.
  • Keep track of residents' locations, remind them to sign out when leaving, and promptly report if a resident cannot be located.
  • Promote teamwork through positive interactions with co-workers.
  • Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
  • Attend all required in-service training sessions.
  • Be an active member of the community’s emergency response team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Current CNA certification.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.
