About the unit

Neuroscience nurses provide care for patient with a various illness of the brain and nervous system in this 32-bed neuro-medical unit.  Patient diagnosis include but are not limited to CVA, TIA’s, Parkinson’s disease, Seizures, Multiple sclerosis and other Neurological disorders.  Nurses will also be caring for other general medical surgical patients with various illnesses in this area.  The unit has 12 telemetry beds for patients requiring close cardiac and neurological monitoring.
