Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement. CNA training and certification required and provided by facility. Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year. Compensation & Benefits: The hourly wage for this opportunity is $21.00/hour to $29.40/hour, with a median wage of $24.50/hour. Coordination of patient schedules/tests with multiple departments. Coordination of inter- and intradepartmental communication. Prioritizing tasks to meet patient and unit/department needs. Responding to a decentralized nursing care delivery system. Accurate transcription of provider orders. Serve as a patient safety attendant according to policy and guidelines, focusing on the safety of the patient in medical or behavioral situations, including suicide precaution situations. Protects the confidentiality of personal health information. Qualifications: Required: High school diploma/GED Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association) is required. If candidate holds valid CPR for Healthcare providers through another acceptable organization (as determined by Gillette), candidate may be able to begin employment but must complete CPR BLS for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association within one month of employment.
