Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Take and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Observe and report any changes in patients' physical or mental conditions to the nursing staff.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
  • Offer emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Maintain a clean and organized patient environment.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • 1-5 years of experience
  • Prior experience as a CNA or in a similar healthcare role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic patient care principles and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Compassion and empathy towards patients.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
