Eventide-Tabitha is currently hiring for a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for an evening shift 6p-10p (4 Hours). This position has an every other weekend and holiday rotation The Charge Nurse provides and ensures that the highest degree of nursing care is provided in accordance with the current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations as well as the philosophy, policies and procedures of Eventide-Tabitha Ideal Candidate: At least age 18. Successful completion of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse course of study. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 6 months experience as an RN or LPN, preferred. RN or LPN License in good standing as recorded on the Nebraska State Registry or other Nurse Compact state required. CPR Required. Licenses/credentials must be kept up to date at the expense of the employee. Must meet Tabitha's vaccination requirements Essential Job Duties: Follows through on physician’s orders in accordance with Tabitha’s policies and procedures. If appropriate, receives and records physician’s orders. Prepares, administers, and/or supervises administration of medication, treatments and other nursing services as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies/procedures. Observes Senior/client, watching for any sign of adverse reaction to medications. Assesses seniors/clients assigned to him/her in regard to physical, mental and psychosocial status, reporting condition changes in a timely manner to immediate supervisor and provides follow-up with family and physician as directed. Takes and accurately records vital signs. Diligently observes Senior/client skin per Tabitha policies, proactively taking steps to avoid pressure ulcers. Completes procedures and documents the appropriate information on the Senior’s/client’s medical record in a timely manner according to Tabitha’s policies and procedures. With particular attention to accuracy and timeliness, follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation. Provides direction and monitors Med Aides who are delivering medications to Seniors/clients. Follows through on the comprehensive care plan as developed for each individual senior/client. Provides supervision and education to Seniors/clients for the self-administration of medications. When applicable, assists in teaching the Senior/client and/or caregiver the necessary skills to allow the Senior/client to return to his/her home. Assists in writing and implementing a comprehensive nursing plan of care. Updates the plan based on changes in the Senior/client physical and/or emotional state. Compensation: At Eventide | Tabitha, we value our employees and offer a competitive starting pay range of $36-$40.32 per hour for RN's based on qualifications, experience, and location. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SEVITA: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Nursing Program. Five years’ experience, including three years of management experience, with the population being served. Certification/Licensed as a Registered Nurse. Must be an AMAP approved nurse or willing to obtain that certification within the first 60 days of employment. Valid Driver’s license, car registration and vehicle insurance required if transporting consumers in personal vehicle. First Aid/CPR certification must be done within 30 days of employment. Other training courses associated with consumer behavior and care must be completed within the first 90 days of employment. Job Description

Eventide-Tabitha is currently hiring for a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for an evening shift 6p-10p (4 Hours). This position has an every other weekend and holiday rotation

The Charge Nurse provides and ensures that the highest degree of nursing care is provided in accordance with the current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations as well as the philosophy, policies and procedures of Eventide-Tabitha

Ideal Candidate:

  • At least age 18.
  • Successful completion of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse course of study. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 6 months experience as an RN or LPN, preferred.
  • RN or LPN License in good standing as recorded on the Nebraska State Registry or other Nurse Compact state required. CPR Required. Licenses/credentials must be kept up to date at the expense of the employee. Must meet Tabitha's vaccination requirements

Essential Job Duties:

  • Follows through on physician’s orders in accordance with Tabitha’s policies and procedures. If appropriate, receives and records physician’s orders.
  • Prepares, administers, and/or supervises administration of medication, treatments and other nursing services as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies/procedures. Observes Senior/client, watching for any sign of adverse reaction to medications.
  • Assesses seniors/clients assigned to him/her in regard to physical, mental and psychosocial status, reporting condition changes in a timely manner to immediate supervisor and provides follow-up with family and physician as directed. Takes and accurately records vital signs.
  • Diligently observes Senior/client skin per Tabitha policies, proactively taking steps to avoid pressure ulcers.
  • Completes procedures and documents the appropriate information on the Senior’s/client’s medical record in a timely manner according to Tabitha’s policies and procedures. With particular attention to accuracy and timeliness, follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
  • Provides direction and monitors Med Aides who are delivering medications to Seniors/clients. Follows through on the comprehensive care plan as developed for each individual senior/client.
  • Provides supervision and education to Seniors/clients for the self-administration of medications. When applicable, assists in teaching the Senior/client and/or caregiver the necessary skills to allow the Senior/client to return to his/her home.
  • Assists in writing and implementing a comprehensive nursing plan of care. Updates the plan based on changes in the Senior/client physical and/or emotional state.

Compensation:

At Eventide | Tabitha, we value our employees and offer a competitive starting pay range of $36-$40.32 per hour for RN's based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available, for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
