Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively seeking  Painters for an assignment in Wichita.Job Description: 

• Read engineering drawings to identify the tasks to be performed in preparation for the application of chemicals and paint to aircraft surface.
• Apply safety absorbent to hangar floor and spray aircraft surface with stripper to remove all paint.
• Assist with moving aircraft to appropriate bay.
• Mask, unmask, and re-mask appropriate areas of aircraft surface to ensure complete protection of windows and other areas susceptible to damage.
• Remove stripper, excess paint, and/or contaminants using water, solvents, air blower, and/or brushes.
• Sand, grind, and buff polished areas of aircraft surface, apply putty to body dents, and replace sealer in preparation for the application of primer and paint.
• Apply Alodine to aircraft surface using spray equipment.
• Perform touch-up work as required.
• Document work performed per Inspection Procedures Manual (IPM)
• Perform above tasks in support of production, flight test, and other outside areas as required.

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience - can be a mix of aircraft and automotive
• Must have: large parts to full body aircraft paint experience
