WHAT YOU’LL DO Reference the blueprint and confer with the Lead person to determine job requirements. Gather necessary materials and perform layout per specifications. Set up the welding machine and adjust  settings. Operate welding gun to weld steel, aluminum, etc., pieces together. Visually examine welds for adherence to quality standards; reweld defective joints and remove surplus slag, flux, and spatter using a brush, pad, buffer, and/or grinder. Operate cutting torch and manual plasma cutter as needed. Apply the weld stencil and notify the Lead person or Inspector when the product is ready for inspection. Perform ongoing housekeeping duties to keep the work area clear of scrap and debris. Take project meeting minutes and document substitution requests. Input data into Transportation Management System. Track material and assets. Help monitor the project schedule. Inspect and prepare outgoing loads for completion based on the bill of material. Facilitate quality control measures. Select products. Run key performance indicator (KPI) reports. Prepare and maintain productivity reports. Assist in safety programs. Job Scope:  Scope of work may vary, from working on one large project, to several smaller size projects. Supervise and develop department staff, fostering a high-performance, service-oriented culture. Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments and employee expense reimbursements. Maintain and enforce T&E policies, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Oversee the corporate credit card platform, including issuance, usage monitoring, and policy adherence. Manage daily cash operations, banking relationships, and short-term liquidity planning. Support cash forecasting, intercompany funding, and treasury reporting. Oversee accurate calculation, reporting, and remittance of sales and use taxes across applicable jurisdictions. Ensure compliance with evolving tax laws and coordinate with external advisors as needed. Manage and maintain legal entity registrations and tax filings across all relevant jurisdictions. Coordinate with legal and tax teams to ensure timely renewals and compliance. Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities across all service areas. Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with SOX or other regulatory frameworks. Oversee the use and optimization of ERP systems and financial tools related to AP, T&E, and treasury. Collaborate with IT and finance teams to drive system enhancements and integrations. Establish KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs) to measure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. JOB TITLE:  Automotive Technician/R&R Technician

Summary:

This position is primarily responsible to service a broad range of vehicle repair issues to ensure proper performance and safety of vehicles and for quickly identifying the cause of performance problems. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems
  • Remove and Reinstall Transmission systems
  • Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
  • Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and technicians
  • Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools and repair techniques
  • Professionally record findings so that repairs costs are accurately estimated
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
