Attend all trainings and workshops to maintain ability to provide the most up to date, effective and evidence based practice. Establish and maintain a professional rapport with all consumers, co-workers, referral agents and representatives of other community agencies and services. Promote public relations throughout the agency and community for the program. Demonstrate a willingness to serve on agency and interagency task groups as requested. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. Provide care and maintenance for Minds Matter LLC issued iPad and iPhone. Maintain confidentiality of protected health information in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Possibly serve as a consumer’s team lead, which entails being accountable for updating goal plans and team meeting history forms during the team meetings with progress, effectiveness of strategies, concerns, task assignments to team members, or changes to goals. Knit-Rite/ Thuasne has an immediate opening in Kansas City, KS for a Full Time Maintenance Technician!  

What You’ll Get To Do

This position is a training position to learn how to perform maintenance on knitting equipment, Train to resolve machine knitting issues and correctly troubleshoot and repair of all knitting equipment. Also, in addition to running some knitting equipment as a backup operator when necessary.

The Essentials

    • Learn how to Identify maintenance issues on knitting equipment and resolves appropriately.
    • Help perform maintenance on knitting equipment.
    • Performs variety of small jobs as assigned.
    • Learn how to Operate knitting equipment as backup operator as needed.
    • Train to follow preventative maintenance schedules and helps maintain schedule.
    • Follows lock out tag out procedures.
    • Work as a team member to accomplish goals and projects.
    • All other duties as assigned, including helping in other departments as needed.
