This is a more experienced scheduler that can function across multiple departments and may be floated to cover areas based on staffing needs. This position may mentor lower level staff in need of additional training. The Patient Scheduling Representative may work out of a call center or one of the health system's outpatient clinics. This position may schedule appointments for imaging, laboratory, clinic, infusion, treatment and procedures while demonstrating teamwork and effective communication throughout the process. Procedures may include surgery, ambulatory surgery center appointments and the GI departments. Monitors and responds to appointment requests within the electronic medical record (EMR) workqueues, while also working as a part of the clinical team to answer incoming calls and messages from both clinicians and patients. Responsible for scheduling all referral appointments to external offices and sending necessary referral and medical records to the referred office/physician. This position may also be required to leverage additional scheduling systems to coordinate schedules for patient care. Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions Position responds to a high volume of incoming telephone calls. Responsible for accurate scheduling/rescheduling / cancellations of patient visits; including clinic appointments (in person and telehealth), treatments such as (chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgeries, procedures and or ancillary services) using extensive knowledge of appointment types, locations, providers and specialties. About the role: As a Nuclear Engineer 2 you will provide miscellaneous plant support to the operations of the Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS) in fulfillment of the Core Design & Safety Analysis function outsourcing arrangement between the Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Company and Westinghouse Electric Company. Key Responsibilities: Perform safety analysis engineering efforts at Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS). You will perform complex engineering design and analyses in the commercial nuclear industry and providing technical input and written documents supporting the design, development, performance, and delivery of technical products and services. Initially, primary focus will support the successful transition of the WCNOC Core design and safety analysis methodology to Westinghouse methodology. Directly responsible for daily overall WCNOC customer satisfaction in the area of fuel reload design and support. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nuclear engineering Nuclear required. Minimum 3+ years of applicable experience Perform assigned analyses related to the delivery of fuel reloads including fuel core and thermal hydraulic design, Chapter 15 LOCA, non-LOCA and containment transient analysis. Unescorted Access needed: Unescorted access at Wolf Creek Generating Station will be required. Provide periodic updates and recommendations regarding the nature and status of work/projects to all appropriate internal and external personnel. Develop and deliver presentations to communicate statuses, problem resolutions, recommendations, or promote business-related products. Develop procedures, processes, and methods for implementing technical requirements. Beneficial Skills: Expertise in the use of standard Thermal-Hydraulic computer codes used to support WCGS operations, including RETRAN02, VIPRE01, and Westinghouse-specific equivalents. Familiarity with NRC Requirements for safety analysis applications. Detailed knowledge of the WCGS customer organization and daily work practices in the area of fuel reload design, safety analysis, core performance/reactor engineering, and system engineering. Detailed knowledge of both existing WCGS and Westinghouse safety analysis methodologies and the interface of the safety analysis methodology with the WCGS core performance, PRA, Design Engineering, and Operations groups. Position Summary / Career Interest:

The Medical Assistant is responsible for ensuring efficient flow of patients through the health care setting by facilitating examination and treatment of patients in a culturally sensitive manner with exceptional customer service; contributes to patient care by preparing patient for visit, performing limited procedures, scheduling diagnostic test or consults, maintaining patient records, organizing clinic/exam rooms, maintaining supply/equipment inventory, and/or assisting physicians, other medical staff, nurses, other interdisciplinary team members and support staff.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Accurately schedules tests; obtains films and reports; and prepares laboratory specimens according to policy.

  • Assists physicians and/or nurses with special procedures and examinations as defined on competency checklist.

  • Collaborates with members of the health care team in coordinating and implementing plans for patient care; may record elements of the patient history for clinical staff review.

  • Electronically submits, calls and/or faxes in prescriptions and refills to outpatient pharmacies

  • Ensures data collected for completed procedures is recorded on appropriate forms and in medical records

  • Maintains medical records; ensures all required documentation is available in the medical record; distributes reports and correspondence; files, photocopies and processes forms related to medical charts.

  • Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of examination rooms; stocks assigned areas and ensures par levels of supplies are maintained; checks and completes required logs and equipment such as refrigerator logs, eyewash logs, emergency/crash carts, suction and other required checks.

  • Performs clerical duties such as greeting patients; registration; scheduling; pre-certification of tests, procedures and medications; processing insurance forms; preparing financial records; answering phones; and entering ambulatory care charges.

  • Performs simple procedures as directed by the nurse or physician and as defined on the competency checklist.

  • Performs vital signs, height, weight, and screening procedures and documents in medical record

  • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
