What You’ll Do
As a Human Resources Generalist, you’ll be a key partner to employees and leaders, supporting the full employee lifecycle while helping OneHR deliver a strong, consistent HR experience across the organization.
You’ll:
- Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and leaders, balancing employee advocacy with business needs
- Support employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and coaching leaders through people issues
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt roles, including sourcing, interviewing, assessments, background checks, and offer coordination
- Partner with the Corporate Recruiter to support hiring demand and time-to-fill goals
- Coordinate and deliver onboarding and new-hire orientation programs
- Communicate and administer employee benefits enrollments and HR programs
- Track and administer FMLA and personal leave requests
- Support performance management processes and annual evaluations
- Manage unemployment claims and coordinate litigation matters with third-party vendors
- Help maintain HR policies, procedures, and handbook updates in alignment with employment laws
- Support employee recognition programs, engagement initiatives, and company events
- Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
Requirements
What You Bring
You’re a hands-on Human Resources professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships across an organization.
You bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 3+ years of HR experience in a corporate environment
- Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Experience handling employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion
- Comfort working across multiple HR functions; recruiting, employee relations, compliance, benefits, and performance management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and working knowledge of HRIS (ADP a plus) and payroll systems
- The ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and communicate clearly
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR or similar) is preferred, not required
