Qualifications:

  • Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant school and hold a NCCPA, AANP or ANCC Certification.
  • Hold and maintain an active and unrestricted NP/PA License, free from any pending adverse actions and the ability to be favorability credentialed by Acuity policy.
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant.
  • Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification required.
  • Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS) will be required before deployment.
  • All Healthcare Providers and medical support staff must have a recent clinical experience in direct patient care for a least 6 months out of the past year.
  • Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as with MS Office products required.
  • Ability to adapt to sudden changes and flexibility in work requirements to include potential shift changes based on operational needs and/or command priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to research and resolve inquiries and respond in a timely manner.
  • Self-starter who is action oriented and possesses a strong sense of urgency.
  • Must be a US citizen or be a permanent resident residing in the US for 3 of the past 5 years.
