Summary We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.   Duties/Responsibilities Qualifications Adhere and follow safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site specific safety plans when performing cleanup activities and donning protective gear Operate routinely used hand tools and equipment Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment Load and unload equipment from vehicles, and trailers Complete required paperwork, forms and records as required Have an excellent driving history Load haul trucks · Underground tank removal and remediation experience preferred Required Skills/Abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment. Environmental Remediation industry experience Environmental and hazardous waste experience including certification per OSHA 1910.120 (i.e. OSHA 40hr HAZWOPER) Heavy equipment operation and maintenance experience Extensive travel may be required at times OSHA 10 and 30 hr Education and Experience 3+ years demonstrated ability to operate various types of heavy equipment including excavators and skid steers. Environmental Remediation industry experience is a plus Travel will be required Valid Drivers License Physical/Environment Requirements Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions. Works in atmospheres with low clearance, confined spaces and at heights. Travel required. We're looking for a Bridge Engineer, Project Manager to join our Transportation team at our Overland Park location (in office). This individual will assist with the design of various projects that may include bridge structures design, bridge rehabilitation design, bridge inspection and structural analysis, bridge falsework and girder erection design, traffic control, retaining and sound wall design, and more. Responsibilities: Assist with the design and production of DOT, turnpike, county, and municipal transportation projects. Project management and oversight of bridge projects from initial scoping to final design plans. Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to production staff. Develop and maintain client relations as main point of contact. Prepare and assist with project proposals, interviews, and client presentations. Attend client meetings to ensure the design meets their needs and objectives. Requirements: B.S. in Civil Engineering. 5+ years of experience in DOT, turnpike, municipal, and county-related transportation projects. Prior experience in bridge design and/or roadway design and understanding of bridge hydraulics. Experience with Civil 3D and/or MicroStation products (OpenRoads, InRoads, or Geopak). Knowledge of and/or experience with software such as MDX, LEAP Bridge, OpenBridge Designer, BRASS-CULVERT, LARSA and BAR7 Proficient in Microsoft Office. PE license in Kansas is preferred (or the ability to obtain said license in a timely manner). Knowledge of local standards and requirements is preferred. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple project tasks. Excellent presentation, written communication, time management, and organizational skills are required. Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines, be self-directed, exhibit good business judgment, and handle confidential information appropriately. Class A HAZ Delivery Nighttime Driver - Home Daily with 2 Layovers Weekly

POSITION DETAILS

  • Average Earnings per Week: $1,400 to $1800
  • Home Time: Home Daily
  • Shift: MON-FRI, assigned departure times between 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm
  • Equipment: 2020 and newer. Sleepers and straight trucks 
  • Freight Info: Driver will unload at Auto Parts stores using an electric pallet jack. May have returns to handle. 
  • Lane Info: Delivering in NE, KS, MO, CO, OK, IA. All layover routes so they will be out two nights per week. All deliveries are done during the day, while the stores are open.
  • Average Weekly Miles: 2,425 – 2,561  – 35 stops
  • Weekly Pay via Direct Deposit
