 URGENT HIREPosition Summary: Madison Core Laboratories Phlebotomist's are responsible for efficiently and accurately collecting blood and specimen samples for laboratory analysis, depending on their specific facility. This position will be expected to work a flexible work schedule serving Dothan and surrounding areas. (shift time 5:30 AM to 2:30PM ) 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently collect blood and specimen samples- based on facility needs 
  • Identify patients and their personal information using a form of ID and/or medical records 
  • Ensure quality and quantity of collected samples  
  • Label samples correctly and send or deliver for testing  
  • Answer related patient questions and provide useful information 
  • Adhere to all health and safety standards while working in the facility and/or traveling 
  • Follows instructions and other duties as directed by supervisor
