Why This Role Matters

As a Project Superintendent, you'll be the on-site leader responsible for turning plans into reality. You'll guide field teams, coordinate trusted subcontractors, and ensure every project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This role offers real ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on project success.

What You'll Do

  • Lead all on-site construction activities for a single project from start to finish.
  • Build strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project partners.
  • Set daily priorities and keep crews aligned with project schedules and milestones.
  • Champion a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork on the job site.
  • Mentor carpenters and laborers, helping them grow their skills and careers.
  • Review plans and specifications to proactively identify challenges and solutions.
  • Coordinate inspections with local building officials and third-party inspectors.
  • Ensure materials, workmanship, and installations meet project specifications and company standards.
  • Partner closely with the Project Manager to address field conditions, costs, and schedule impacts.
  • Complete daily field reports covering manpower, activities, site visitors, and weather.
  • Participate in weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors and the client team.

What We're Looking For

  • A hands-on leader with a strong understanding of construction means and methods.
  • Someone who communicates clearly, professionally, and confidently with field teams and stakeholders.
  • A problem-solver who takes ownership and acts with urgency when challenges arise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field or equivalent field experience (7+ years in a supervisory role).
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification.
  • CPR / First Aid Certified.
  • Familiarity with IBC codes; experience in New Hampshire and Massachusetts a plus.
  • Massachusetts Superintendent's License preferred, not required.
