Associates Degree in machining or approved apprenticeship program preferred. 3 or more years' experience as CNC Mill and/or Lathe machinist including set-up, and programming. Proficient in trigonometry. Experience with TruePath and/or Mastercam (or equivalent software). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel and ERP software preferred (Epicor helpful). Advanced knowledge of GD&T and ANSI Y 14.5. Read and understand blue prints and use metrology tools. Ability to interpret and act on SPC data. Basic understanding of how different metals affect the choice of cutting tools, and speeds and feeds. Requires lifting and carrying of up to 30 lbs. or more and standing for extended periods of time.
