Run multiple machines at the same time, based on proximity, qualifications, and training. May, but are not required to, modify and troubleshoot machining programs, as the company bases them on machine qualification and training. Set-up machine tools and component or casting to ensure the proper machining of the part, component, or casting to print specifications. Depending upon the size of the part and the respective complexity, set-up time can vary. Will require minimal or no guidance. Qualifications: High school graduate or recognized equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience and operational proficiency as a Westinghouse - Newington Machinist B or recognized equivalent. Knowledge of CNC "G" codes Knowledge of tooling, fixtures arid machine set-up to achieve quality machined components. Familiar with and practice 5S principals. Knowledge of programing.
