The Associate Brand Manager is responsible for assisting with execution, commercialization, and ongoing support of all Bauer Hockey Apparel product lines & lifecycles with a focus on licensed apparel. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and execute the seasonal category plans and drive category go to market strategies and planning for both new and existing products. The Associate Brand Manager reports to the Senior Director, Apparel, and will analyze consumer research and insights, brand tracking data, sales information, and projections to develop and execute marketing plans as well as manage the product line plan and pricing. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities: Become the consumer insights and competitive market industry specialist to drive product line strategy and brand growth. Manage product line plan and pricing. Assist with managing the entire product lifecycle, including attaining volume, profit, margin dollars and share. Work as a part of a cross-functional team to execute the seasonal product launch plans, including the product development, sales, supply, and demand teams. Assist in obtaining information on sales history, market share and competitors. Develop a deep understanding of business dynamics, retailer trends & challenges, to identify growth opportunities. Validate selling stories, features and benefits and final product direction through consumer insight collection. Assist the Director to support sales through key account presentations, trade shows and retailer specific demand creation initiatives. Team data collection and reporting from GLP, SAP, intranet maintenance of GLP. Track competitive assessments including launches and pricing comparisons. Collaborate with the creation of product briefs outlining product performance requirements, target costs, wholesale and retail pricing, and unit forecasts. Manage samples and seasonal marketing photo shoots. Qualifications: BS or BA in Marketing, Business, or related field- or equivalent years of relevant and related experience. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a business setting with brand management, strategic and analytical capabilities. Strong communication skills (written/verbal), including demonstrated ability to deliver effective presentations. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Strong organizational and analytical skills. Excellent information seeking skills and detail oriented with ability to seek creative viable solutions to any given situation. Adjust quickly to changing priorities and business needs, strong time management skills. Management, strategic and analytical capabilities. Ability to clearly articulate and monitor goals and objectives for cross-functional team. Detail-oriented, with ability to seek creative viable solutions to any given situation. Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group and fast-paced, dynamic environment. Knowledge of the hockey industry and a core understanding of the consumer preferred. The Franklin Pierce Men’s Lacrosse program is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Graduate Assistant Coach.

The Graduate Assistant position is a two-year position and includes tuition remission program.  Housing is not included. Acceptance of the position is contingent upon successful admission into the University’s Graduate School.

Major responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

  • On and Off campus recruiting of qualified student athletes
  • Assist with Fundraising activities
  • Assist with practice planning and implementation
  • Monitoring of academics and study halls
  • Assist with team travel and game day operations, as well as scheduling, organizing, and general office work
  • Team Social Media/Video program
  • Adherence to all NCAA rules and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Successful admission in an FPU Graduate Program
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Previous coaching experience and/or successful NCAA playing experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to attract, recruit, and retain high-level players
