Summary of Duties:

This role supports the North Central sales territory, and remote work is permitted based out of IA, IL, KS, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, SD, or WI.

Advise members of management regarding strategies for maintenance and expansion of market share in the SLED North Central Region of the US for embedded software security.

  • Data mine high potential accounts, identify key accounts & contacts to engage

Customer Engagement

Partner Support (OEM, DRC & VAR)

  • Build out an expansive network of lasting relationships with partners in your territory

CRM Management (Salesforce.com)

  • Maintain pipeline, ensuring an accurate forecast with daily updates

  • Document pertinent meetings, emails, phone calls and supporting customer data as appointments, activities and/or notes to ensure seamless customer support

  • Reconcile quarterly revenue tracking with finances daily invoice summary
  • Administer product upgrades and term extensions as requested
  • Assist and implement customer onboarding
  • Find, track and expand opportunities with existing customers

Experience requirements: 6 years of work experience with selling to SLED (state, local and education) accounts with 2 years using Salesforce. Acceptable Occupations for Experience: Any occupation in which the required experience is gained.

Special Skills or Other Requirements:

Work experience must include:

  • Experience selling enterprise security products and services.
  • Experience working with PC manufacturers and their distribution sales forces and/or with systems integrators and VARs
  • Experience in closing large deals with structured sales methodology (Force Management or similar).
