  • Collaborates with the team to develop and maintain standards and best practices, policies & procedures for the Cloud Engineering

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field from a four-year college or university or equivalent education and/or work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in program management and an additional 2 years' experience in staff management.
  • (PMP) Project Management Professional or (CSM) Certified Scrum Master is preferred
  • Experience in managing Iterative Development or Scrum/AGILE projects and programs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of project management and portfolio management best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing processes.
  • Demonstrated success working with development tracking tools and time reporting tools.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills including experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Ability to be flexible, set priorities and meet deadlines in a changing environment for self as well as the team.
  • Ability to drive results in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in modern project management tools like Jira.

Your Team

This is a leadership role that will report to the Vice President, Cloud Engineering. You will have 5 direct reports and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

As our Manager, Technical Project Management you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, AZ. In October 2021, Choice opened a newly constructed world class technology center.

Our corporate office locations:

North Bethesda, MD - Located at Pike & Rose, our worldwide headquarters is less than 15 miles from Washington, D.C., one block away from the North Bethesda Metro station, with easy access to I-495, complimentary parking, electronic charging stations, restaurants and retail.

Field/Remote - Select roles designated as field/remote will require associates to work from a home office, connecting virtually with Choice team members and leadership on Zoom, with possible required travel depending on the role.
