Driven Brand's Indirect Tax Team is looking for a Driven Senior Tax Analyst who wants to make a difference!

Reporting to the Senior Manager of our Indirect Tax team, this role is responsible for supporting US Sales and Use tax compliance, Property tax, and audit support.

How you will Own It:

  • Compile and review fixed assets for Business Personal Property Tax, provide to third party compliance team.
  • Assist with source preparation for Sales and Use Tax returns, compile data in tax workbook.
  • Provide audit support by gathering requested data, review, reconcile, and discuss with auditors.
  • Monthly Journal entries for all Indirect Tax functions.
  • Reconciliation of various tax accounts on a quarterly basis.
  • Review and log notices, research issues and reach out to proper tax authorities for remediation.
  • Provide research on taxability changes to ensure proper tax treatment in Vertex software.

What you'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • At least 4 years of Indirect Tax experience in a public company
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel
  • Knowledge of US Sales and Use, Business Personal Property tax, ability to research product taxability based on current tax laws
  • Proactive and resourceful team player with positive attitude and energy, close attention to detail
