Understand complex and varying show matrix charts by commodity. A working knowledge of the numerous show matrix needs and an understanding of product needs for sets/props and other vendor needs. Physically obtain product totes, boxes or bags from location (includes oversized warehouse and jewelry), removes product from the tote or hanger and places on appropriate cart or rack. Examine products to ensure they are in optimum condition and working order. Ensure colors are exact match and call out any packaging/model changes to QA. An understanding of time sensitive display products that need longer prep times. The ability to compare the Long Description of the product to the actual product to maintain the quality standards set forth by QVC. This includes checking the basic functions of the product, the included accessories, and any other descriptions sited in the LD. This includes starting up electronics and testing functionality. Places orders for new samples from the appropriate distribution site when products are incomplete, quantity necessary for the show is not in location and product is damaged or in poor condition. Decide on best shipping method to meet show deadline and reduce courier expenses. Contacts buyers/vendors by email when products are not available in the distribution sites or they are last minute additions to the show. Coordinate delivery of exception buyer samples. Identify show items in New Receipts and coordinate efforts to receive and prep product with new receipts processor or receive and prep product when no assistance is available. Knowledge of the product locator system for proper location assignment. Research by company appropriate system when products are missing from location. Contact stylists, buyers, QA, etc. to retrieve product for the show. Requires a working knowledge of backstage and studio functions. Notify team lead of all product issues. Transports product and pick information to product prep room. After show, counts and inspects items returned from the set for damages or completeness before put away. Investigate/research misplaced units, relabels and returns to inventory. Box all items for storage and safe retrieval. Research items not returned from commerce teams by tracking, recording and documenting back to commerce teams missing units while also notifying Inventory Control. Debris Removal Specialist
Overview: This job is to remove the debris (cardboard, trash, plastic shrink wrap, damaged merchandise, and any other material that needs to be removed at the clients request). The team member will operate power equipment to transport the debris from one location to another. The team member will spend the total scheduled hours in the standing position. The job also includes bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, sweeping and dusting. The team member will be properly trained to operate electric debris compactor. The team member will be trained on all safety requirements that need to be followed while performing this job function. The team member must be able to work in a team oriented environment on a daily basis.
Job Duties Include:
  • Operating power equipment that requires standing and ability to control the power equipment physically and coherently.
  • Must be able to have basic range of motion for bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling. The weight of debris will not be in excess of 50lb, if items require assistance team member must conduct a team lift.
  • Team member will be required to collect debris from the facility with the carts produced. They will transport them to the debris compactor.
  • Team member must be able to operate the electric debris compactor when proper training is complete.
  • Team member must be able to complete and abide by all safety rules upon completion of safety training.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Performs physical upkeep of warehouse
