We are looking for a dependable Supervisor on our 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri to help oversee the departmental operations at our North Las Vegas, NV warehouse. The Supervisor will serve as the primary point of contact for associates to provide guidance and training on departmental policies and procedures. Starting at $18/hr or more based on experience Schedule M - F 8am -5pm Responsibilities Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders. Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages. Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders. Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material. Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident free. Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). Qualifications 1-3 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred. High attention to detail. Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment. Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic. Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly. Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices. Reach recently launched our newest warehouse in October of 2024, located in North Las Vegas! We are looking for a dependable Supervisor on our 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri to help oversee the departmental operations at our North Las Vegas, NV warehouse. The Supervisor will serve as the primary point of contact for associates to provide guidance and training on departmental policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as supervisor in a specific department with ability to flex to other departments as needed
  • Provide Start of shift and End of shift reports
  • Oversee the quality of associates work, provide any needed assistance to meet product quality, productivity goals and safety opportunities
  • Conduct consistent coaching and counseling meetings with associates
  • Lead assigned associates on shift to meet productivity and efficiency targets
  • Conduct accuracy and quality audits by verifying product quantity and quality
  • Complete tasks as assigned and resolve day-to-day problems
  • Train and cross train new employees in various job functions
  • Perform and support all job requirements as directed by manager
  • Facilitate team building exercises and activities to boost associates morale
  • Assist with daily sync meetings and weekly leadership meetings
  • Document coaching and development conversations
  • Evaluates associates performance, issues corrective and disciplinary actions as required
  •  Promote a positive work environment through excellent verbal communication, listening, and promoting company standards
  • Ensure the safety of all team members by teaching, promoting and exemplifying safety guidelines
  • All other duties assigned by management.
  • Labor tracking and planning of assigned associates
  • Attendance tracking of assigned associates
  • Coaching associates on product quality and audit procedures
  • Completing of standard work checklist
  • Time off approvals and weekly time submission for assigned associates

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years people management experience
  • Accurate and detail oriented
  • Willing to take and follow directions
  • Leadership skills
  • Organized, hardworking, dependable, and punctual
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to engage employees with a welcoming approach, while also having the ability to conduct a constructive conversation with employees without making them feel unheard/underappreciated
  • Previous warehouse strongly preferred
  • Bilingual strongly preferred

Physical Demands

  • Able to stand/walk for up to 8-12 hours
  • Able to push/pull, bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the head
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
