We currently have two openings in our busy fabrication shop for the position of Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver. Both positions are full-time. This job entails work in our fabrication shop as well as making deliveries and/or picking up supplies using a company truck or van. Employees working in this position will be involved in putting together stock orders for delivery, accepting shipments, unloading and organizing stock, loading trucks, fabricating pipe - ensuring all specifications and standards are met, operating a forklift, as well as other general warehouse duties as assigned, while following all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. In addition, employees in this position will be making deliveries to various job sites and picking up stock in the Greater Boston and surrounding areas, as well as occasionally to Cape Cod, Rhode Island, and southern New Hampshire. On days when morning deliveries need to be made, the start time may be as early as 5:00 am, as most deliveries must be at the job site by 6:00 or 7:00 am, depending on the specific job. If no morning delivery is needed, the start time at the shop on those days will be 6:30 am. No CDL is necessary; however, a DOT card will be required by the end of the first week (the cost and time to get the DOT card will be paid for by the company). Qualifications: * RELIABLE - being prompt to the shop or job site each and every day is vital * High school diploma or equivalent * Valid MA driver's license, with an excellent driving record, and a dependable vehicle to get to and from work.
