Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at ATC Healthcare. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring safe and positive outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients throughout labor and delivery, assessing vital signs and fetal heart rates.
  • Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Assist with the delivery process, including performing necessary procedures as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of OR procedures and critical care transport protocols.
  • Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or Athenahealth systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
