Base Pay This role has a minimum base pay from $16.00 per hour with higher starting pay available based on experience. In this role you will be responsible for moving inbound and outbound product efficiently and effectively through the warehouse for delivery. This position will be responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Our Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience Six months experience working in a Warehouse Knowledge of operating a forklift Our Preferred Qualifications Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems Familiar with modern warehousing practices and methods Your Responsibilities Receive and check in merchandise from in-bound shipments compare to purchase orders or other documents Fill case and bottle orders for products Load delivery trucks and other outbound shipments of billed orders Restock daily bottle and case inventory sold Participate in inventory counts as directed Understand and adhere to the safety rules and requirements in the workplace Ensure warehouse equipment service needs, safety needs, workplace accidents, and other safety issues are reported promptly Attend safety meetings, and take safety classes, as needed Responsible for filling out equipment report before usage Responsible for meeting operational efficiency goals and benchmarks Order Selector Skills Forklift and Riding Jack Skills Loading Truck Skills Lift and push more than 50 lbs. Stop and think: how would YOU put our drinks on every table? 2nd Shift Position (2:45 pm - 11:15 pm Monday-Friday & some Saturdays) Essential Job Functions: Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and adhere to the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas (including but not limited to hairnets/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard toe and slip/oil resistant shoes, appropriate safety gloves, and seatbelts while operating forklifts). Responsible for adhering to food quality and food safety guidelines per Refresco, Customer and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF) standards. Establishes priorities and directs loading workforce to satisfy customer demands. Plan and executes logistic needs with trucking firms to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of shipments, while minimizing freight cost. Implements and enforces processes aimed at creating maximum inventory consistency and accuracy. Reviews and resolves operational problems to minimize cost and prevent operational delays. Manages the assigned business metrics/ budgets including yield, labor efficiency, and overhead expenses. Demonstrates leadership to warehouse employees to ensure consistent quality of work. Maintains effective communication of expectations and goals throughout the Warehouse environment. Ensure compliance to all OHSA and environmental regulatory and corporate standards. Investigate and identify root causes of any non-compliance. Accountable for a safe working environment through the development of strategies focused on accident reduction as well as energy and waste minimization. Oversee effective deployment of human resources throughout the department and ensure the correct administration of the collective Bargaining Agreement when applicable. Back up to Warehouse Supervisor responsibilities, as needed. Perform any other driving activities as directed by leadership. Clean/maintain work areas throughout the shift. Represents the company in a positive manner at all times. May have production machine operation duties.
