Perform general communication duties inclusive of, but not limited to completing, submitting, and filing paperwork, answering telephone(s), answering radios, and composing electronic correspondence (e-mail). Role Purpose

The Parcel Handling Supervisor will be responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of departmental non-exempt employees such as, Cargo Office and Warehouse Agents and warehouse leads. The Supervisor will also supervise staff driving and operating small specialized commercial vehicles, X-ray units, and handheld scanners. This position will require heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and stretching.

What you will be doing:

  • Supervise the e-commerce parcel handling throughout the parcel handling system.
  • Act as the primary contact for the shipper, consignee, and issuing agent for the operation.
  • Supervise the parcel screening process and assist with alarm resolution.
  • Establish the parcel handler schedule and arrange for coverage in cases of scheduled or unscheduled absence.
  • Perform general communication duties inclusive of, but not limited to completing, submitting, and filing paperwork, answering telephone(s), answering radios, and composing electronic correspondence (e-mail).
  • Complete shift reports and assist the Operations Manager with timecards.
