POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Sr. Director of Operations, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing day-to-day workflow of the entire warehouse. In this role, while utilizing your effective communication skills, you will be responsible for managing a small team of Warehouse Associates, while also exercising your multi-tasking skills, acting as a “player-coach,” and managing various hands-on warehouse responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be expected to lead by example, in this fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The Operations Supervisor will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and customer service skills, as well as compliance in upholding all of Solve’s safety and quality standards. In this role, while utilizing your effective communication skills, you will be responsible for managing a small team of Warehouse Associates, while also exercising your multi-tasking skills, acting as a “player-coach,” and managing various hands-on warehouse responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be expected to lead by example, in this fast-paced, team-oriented environment.  The Operations Supervisor will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and customer service skills, as well as compliance in upholding all of Solve’s safety and quality standards. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee all aspects of the shipping and receiving processes, including picking, assembly, and packing of orders; as well as unloading and preparing the product for receipt and put-away, while maintaining quality standards
  • Communicate maintenance needs, quality issues, or other situations that could impact safety, quality or productivity to the Sr. Director of Operations
  • Collaborate with various other departments throughout the organization as needed
  • Deliver high customer service, while serving as the key point of contact for delivery and pick-up drivers, as well as confirming product receiving and shipping information with them in an efficient manner
  • Identify opportunities for improvement to current warehouse processes and contribute to the development of new initiatives
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
  • Lead a small team of Warehouse Associates in day-to-day warehouse responsibilities, while managing team metrics and KPI’s
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Degree or Equivalent
  • 3+ Years Warehouse experience
  • 1+ Years Leadership experience
  • Forklift Certified
  • Proficiency working with warehouse shipping & receiving equipment
  • Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous Team Lead Experience
  • Experience having worked with bearings and/or power transmission components
  • Experience having worked with Epicor Prophet 21
