Job Summary: The PGW Auto Glass Delivery Driver and Warehouse employee is responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering automotive glass products to customers on a designated route. The Warehouse Associate position exists to ensure effective movement and management of inventory between the dock, sales floor, product repair, customer pickup and delivery. Description Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor Key Responsibilities: Manage and Supervise local parcel delivery operations, such as sorting, pickup, and dispatch. Forecast driver’s needs, plan DSP driver routes, and recruit/interview drivers. Assign tasks to frontline and outsourced warehouse staff, enhancing team cohesion. Troubleshoot operational issues, learn our internal warehouse/logistics software, and perform data handling tasks. Generate daily pickup tasks, review, and distribute them to the dispatch team. Collaborate across departments to allocate driver resources effectively. Address vehicle breakdowns, driver absences, and other disruptions. Communicate task changes with third parties and assist drivers in resolving issues during pickup and delivery. Manage exception handling and complaints, including delays or missed pickups.
