The primary role of a Warehouse Picking Clerk is to locate and pick merchandise utilizing Voice Pick System or pick tickets, as well as accurately checking, and packaging and wrapping the correct items needed to complete customer orders. Essential Functions: Responsible for picking product, pre-counting product (as needed), replenishment of product, staging of product and any other duties required in completing order fulfillment for customers. Reports inventory discrepancies and shortages to supervisor, researches as needed to locate short product and maintain high fill rate. Maintains product and unit information needed to ensure that the correct merchandise is being picked and packed. Maintain and grow in knowledge concerning customer needs for custom palletization and labeling. Adhere to all customer requests according to established policies. Must be able to perform all physical motions typical of an order picker including bending, reaching, stretching, walking, pushing carts, stand or walk for long periods for entire shift often over 8hrs/shift, and lifting as much as 75lbs, push/pull carts weighing 75lbs or more repeatedly throughout the shift. We have a job opening and exciting opportunity for a full-timeWarehouse Picking Clerk in our Chicago, IL location. The primary role of a Warehouse Picking Clerk is to locate and pick merchandise utilizing Voice Pick System or pick tickets, as well as accurately checking, and packaging and wrapping the correct items needed to complete customer orders. 
Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for picking product, pre-counting product (as needed), replenishment of product, staging of product and any other duties required in completing order fulfillment for customers.
  • Reports inventory discrepancies and shortages to supervisor, researches as needed to locate short product and maintain high fill rate.
  • Maintains product and unit information needed to ensure that the correct merchandise is being picked and packed. Maintain and grow in knowledge concerning customer needs for custom palletization and labeling. Adhere to all customer requests according to established policies.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly work environment. Cleans and straightens while performing general duties. General custodial assignments (including trash detail,) when needed. Follows established cleaning schedule. Reports damages/disorderly areas to supervisor.
  • Adheres to all customer requests according to established policies.
  • Takes direction from supervisor of department and/or Operation Manager for facility while performing job duties.
  • Works proactively to foster and maintain a positive team oriented atmosphere at all times. Works together with fellow associates and supervisors as a team to promote the goals and common good of the company. Responsible for being a good corporate citizen.
  • Operates all warehouse equipment efficiently in a safe manner to avoid injury to personnel and equipment. Reports any mechanical issue(s) to supervisor upon discovery. Maintains equipment as assigned.
  • Develops relationships and excellent lines of communication with all internal key members; develop a clear understanding of the needs and expectations of the company. 
  • Responsible for thoroughly understanding Concordance’s internal processes and products; and for infusing Concordance culture into work practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need To Be Successful: 
  • High School Diplomaor equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous Warehouse or Distribution Center experience is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are crucial for this position.
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment and with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent previous attendance history.
  • Basic math skills are required.
  • Must be able to perform all physical motions typical of an order picker including bending, reaching, stretching, walking, pushing carts, stand or walk for long periods for entire shift often over 8hrs/shift, and lifting as much as 75lbs, push/pull carts weighing 75lbs or more repeatedly throughout the shift.  With or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced ever-changing environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Able to operate or willing to learn how to operate powered industrial equipment.
  • Excellent time management skills.
