SOME IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 3 years experience in property maintenance or similar type of work

  • Knowledge of the appropriate use of power tools, hand tools, plumbing and electrical tools, outdoor maintenance equipment and other general equipment

  • Valid Driver's license and clean driving record

  • Ability to pass DHS background check

  • Ability to be on-call 7 days a month for an additional $50 a day ($350 Week) stipend to respond to any emergency maintenance concerns that may come up, plus hourly pay if you must go in to respond.

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll work both independently and as a team, to provide safe and supportive housing to individuals experiencing long-term homelessness or living with mental illness or disabilities. You'll travel to SLS properties to complete work-orders, conduct routine maintenance, participate in remodel projects, turn apartment, and maintain landscaping, etc. You'll interact with team members and clients as you work within their offices and living spaces to maintain a well-kept property.
