Job Summary Respiratory Therapist Needed for Spaulding Hospital Summary Perform activities in diagnostic evaluation, therapy, life-sustaining techniques, and education of patients and families of all age groups, neonatal to geriatric. Require a high level of expertise in ventilator management and sophisticated diagnostic procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform respiratory procedures per established guidelines. Clinical assessment is completed for all age groups, including breathing patterns, ABG interpretation, CSR, pulmonary waveforms, and other non-invasive monitoring. Patient's clinical condition report is communicated effectively, including key plan of care. Respiratory therapy consultation and support is provided to other healthcare team members. Documentation and billing is completed per Meditech policy. Respiratory devices and interventions are maintained per manufacturer and department guidelines. Clinical resource support is provided daily for respiratory staff and facility. Additional department, organization, or network activities are completed per established objectives. Qualifications Qualifications and Experience Education/Degree Required- Associate's Degree required. This includes responsibility for the full lifecycle of learning material development, from initial needs assessment and design to content creation, development, and evaluation. Key Responsibilities: Learning / Talent Needs Assessment & Business Alignment: Conduct in-depth analysis and research to understand learning topics, objectives, and business needs outlined in the learning strategy. Assess target audience personas, job roles, and the business culture to tailor learning experiences effectively. Learning Experience Design: Outline and organize learning sequencing to optimize the learning experience. Identify learning experience content deliverables, learning activities (including embedded resources), and assessments. Content Design: Design learning curriculum for various delivery methods, including instructor-led training (ILT), eLearning, blended learning, and microlearning. Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure content messaging and business application alignment. Develop storyboards, prototypes, and design documents to outline the structure, flow, and interactivity of learning experiences. Tailor content to meet the specific needs of business units. Content Development: Curate and create content deliverables using modern, engaging, and interactive multimedia tools (e.g., eLearning modules, videos, audio, assessments, knowledge checks, interactive activities, and simulations). Create visually appealing content, graphics, visual organizers, templates, etc. Support the curation and development of Learning Pathways, Collections, and Role Plans on the Learning Management System (Cornerstone). Project Management: Ensure content design and development timelines and milestones are met. Partner with the team to ensure tracking, reporting, and learning administration activities are planned and aligned with the learning strategy. Graphic Design & Communications: Create graphics and visual aids to support stakeholder communication materials and content deliverables. Support the creation of marketing and communication collateral (e.g., walkaround decks, FAQs). Learning Measurement: Design assessments and evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of learning programs. Recommend improvements based on data analysis. Required Qualifications: Proven experience in instructional design and with instructional technology. In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE). Strong lesson and curriculum planning skills. Proficiency in course development software (e.g., Articulate Storyline). Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS). Visual design skills (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint) and knowledge of data visualization and information graphics. Ability to storyboard. Ability to write effective instructional copy, audio scripts, and video scripts. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with subject matter experts and stakeholders. Knowledge of assessment and evaluation methods. Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4 years) 5+ years' relevant experience in instructional design, project management and performance improvement in a business setting. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree or equivalent (7 plus years) Degree, Focus: Instructional Design, Adult Learning Theory, Instructional Design, Education minor or major. Respiratory Therapist Needed for Spaulding Hospital

Summary

Perform activities in diagnostic evaluation, therapy, life-sustaining techniques, and education of patients and families of all age groups, neonatal to geriatric. Require a high level of expertise in ventilator management and sophisticated diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform respiratory procedures per established guidelines.
  • Clinical assessment is completed for all age groups, including breathing patterns, ABG interpretation, CSR, pulmonary waveforms, and other non-invasive monitoring.
