Program Duration: May 26, 2026 - August 28, 2026 RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and schedules. Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders. Assist in the development and maintenance of project tools and templates. Participate in project meetings and take notes, ensuring follow-up on action items. Upkeep PMO portfolio management tool project data accuracy and maintenance, updating project data as needed. Write procedures for PMO portfolio management tool process, including creating step-by-step instructions for how to use the tool, and best practices for using the tool. Assist in the identification and management of project stakeholders. Participate in the development and implementation of project management best practices. QUALIFICATIONS: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in project management, communications, business administration, or a related field. Knowledge of project management concepts, tools, and techniques. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Flexibility and willingness to learn new things. There are four main volunteer roles available for those looking for a recurring volunteer experience at the library. We're looking for a motivated intern to join our 2026 Summer Intern Cohort at Bridgewater Bank, working with the Project Management team. As a Project Management Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) team to provide support for a variety of Bridgewater's strategic initiatives. You will assist the project management team in applying a PMI-based methodology to the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects while gaining valuable knowledge and skills in project management.

Our internship program is designed to immerse students in real-world banking experiences, enhancing their academic learning with meaningful corporate exposure. Interns will apply the knowledge and skills gained in college to impactful projects that contribute to our organization's success.

Throughout the program, interns will:

  • Collaborate with Bridgewater employees on innovative initiatives aligned with our vision.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to gain insight into strategic decision-making.
  • Lead individual projects and present their work to the Intern Cohort, as well as to our Operational and Senior Leadership Teams.

Program Duration: May 26, 2026 - August 28, 2026

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and schedules.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project tools and templates.
  • Participate in project meetings and take notes, ensuring follow-up on action items.
  • Upkeep PMO portfolio management tool project data accuracy and maintenance, updating project data as needed.
  • Write procedures for PMO portfolio management tool process, including creating step-by-step instructions for how to use the tool, and best practices for using the tool.
  • Assist in the identification and management of project stakeholders.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of project management best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in project management, communications, business administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new things.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
