About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

As the Senior Director of Technical Program Management for Commerce Cloud, you will be at the helm of the world's #1 AI CRM. You aren't just managing schedules; you are the strategic engine driving the execution of Agentforce Commerce Cloud. You will lead a high-performing team of TPMs to deliver cross-functional initiatives that merge human ingenuity with AI agents to redefine the commerce lifecycle.

This is a high-visibility leadership role requiring a blend of deep technical fluency, operational rigor, and the executive presence to navigate C-suite priorities. You will bridge the gap between bold vision and flawless execution, ensuring Salesforce remains the leader in the agentic enterprise shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Operating Model: Define and evolve the Commerce Cloud operating model. Align vision, business goals, and resource allocation across global engineering and product cohorts.

  • Executive Stewardship: Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and EVP/SVP-level stakeholders, providing data-driven insights to influence strategic decision-making and risk mitigation.

  • Operational Excellence: Drive high-cadence forums and "Deep Dive" reviews to unblock technical hurdles, streamline advance release planning, and ensure business-critical milestones are met.

  • Organizational Transformation: Act as a catalyst for change within Product & Technology, fostering a culture of "Beginner's Mind" innovation while maintaining the rigor of a world-class SaaS delivery engine.

  • Portfolio Governance: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of the Agentforce Commerce Cloud portfolio, ensuring complex dependencies across scrum teams and divisions are seamlessly integrated.

  • People Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and elevate a world-class team of TPMs, scaling their impact and aligning their growth with Salesforce's long-term AI strategy.

About You

  • Great Manager: You have a well established record of building and growing teams and managing leaders at the Sr Director level and being able to navigate personnel issues

  • The Bridge Builder: You possess a rare ability to translate complex technical roadmaps into business value for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Grace Under Pressure: You lead with composure in high-stakes environments, leaning on a sense of humor and a solution-oriented mindset.

  • The Innovator: You don't just optimize the world as it is; you have a knack for architecting "what could be" in the realm of AI and automation.

Qualifications

  • 10-15+ years of professional experience leading large-scale enterprise product programs in a fast-paced environment.

  • 5+ years of people management experience at the Director level or above, with a proven track record of building high-output teams.

  • Deep SaaS Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of the SaaS business model and Agile/Scrum software development lifecycles (SDLC) at massive scale.

  • Executive Presence: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to drive consensus across a global, matrixed organization.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Master's or MBA preferred.

Preferred Attributes

  • NPI Mastery: Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI) and Go-To-Market (GTM) motions.

  • AI Fluency: Foundational knowledge or training in AI frameworks and their application in enterprise software.

  • Certified Leadership: Professional Agiel Scrum certifications (CSP-SM or CSP-PO)

Unleash Your Potential

When you join Salesforce, you'll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best. Together, we'll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love. Apply today to not only shape the future - but to redefine what's possible - for yourself, for AI, and the world.
