As an intern, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with nationally recognized fixed income asset managers. You'll also have a mix of daily responsibilities and project work.

This internship requires working full-time during the summer, 37.5-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday in our downtown Milwaukee, WI office. We are seeking a student who can start in May 2026.

The Impact You'll Make:

  • Spend time with various portfolio managers on the team to learn about our investment process

  • Use Bloomberg data and information to research a topic determined by members of our investment team

  • Present your findings to the investment team and answer questions

  • Support the team's dynamic reporting needs using various systems, including Excel

  • Monitor and review reports to ensure data quality and accuracy

  • Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements

  • Perform additional duties and assist with projects as assigned

What You'll Bring to Baird:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or economics preferred

  • Minimum GPA of 3.3 or higher

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written

  • A high level of professionalism is mandatory

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision, yet a willingness to take direction

  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Experience with the Microsoft Office package - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
