Job Description: WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU: Over the past several years, the Private Fixed Income ("PFI") portfolio has grown in assets under management across a diversified and growing range of international clients. The PFI Portfolio Management team was created to grow and manage PFI-focused client portfolios (other than Sun Life's). The Associate Director, PFI Portfolio Management, will be supporting the Managing Director, Head of PFI Portfolio Management and will play a pivotal role in one of the industry's most dynamic and sophisticated Private Fixed Income platforms. The team is the center of excellence for portfolio construction, asset allocation, and client mandate execution across a diverse set of strategies including infrastructure debt, private placements, and structured credit. This position offers direct exposure to senior leadership, active involvement in fund and separate managed account ("SMA") negotiations, and hands on responsibility for asset selection and portfolio design. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $100,000 and $140,000 year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
