POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Director of Customer Data Platform (CDP) to lead the roadmap, enablement, and operational delivery of our enterprise CDP capabilities within the marketing ecosystem. This leader will own marketing's vision and execution for customer profile management, audience segmentation, and activation - enabling real-time personalization, cross-channel targeting, and advanced analytics use cases. The Director will lead a team of technical subject matter experts and analysts and partner closely with IT, Analytics, and Marketing teams to ensure CDP capabilities are scalable, measurable, and aligned with business priorities. This role will also serve as the primary marketing counterpart to a peer IT Director overseeing platform implementation and technical integration. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategic Leadership & Enablement Own and evolve the CDP roadmap aligned with marketing strategies, customer lifecycle needs, and enterprise data initiatives. Lead strategy and execution for unified customer profile development, audience segmentation, and activation frameworks. Collaborate with IT leaders responsible for identity resolution to ensure marketing needs are reflected in solutions that maximize customer and prospect reach. Translate business needs into actionable use cases and platform capabilities that drive engagement, efficiency, and growth. Ensure ongoing governance of taxonomy, tagging requirements, profile enrichment, and privacy-compliant data activation. Marketing & Business Partnership Serve as the primary marketing lead for CDP-related initiatives, working cross-functionally to align with CRM and prioritize use cases for activation. Collaborate with a counterpart IT Director to jointly develop technical specifications, solution designs, and implementation plans - with IT owning development and instrumentation. Partner with CRM, media, loyalty, and ecommerce teams to integrate CDP functionality into campaign planning and execution. Work closely with advanced analytics and data science teams to align on customer identity resolution, segmentation strategy, and the activation of machine learning models for use in targeting, personalization, and lifecycle programs. Collaborate with advanced analytics teams to define machine learning use cases and operationalize model outputs within CDP workflows and activation strategies. Team Leadership & Program Oversight Manage and develop a team of analysts and technical SMEs responsible for data quality, identity stitching, audience logic, and marketing data orchestration. Coordinate closely with engineering, analytics, and enterprise data teams to align on data flows, instrumentation, and customer definitions. Support vendor and platform management by representing marketing's priorities, use cases, and requirements in partnership with IT and Procurement. Champion the use of customer data across the organization through stakeholder engagement, training, and documented best practices. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 8+ years of experience in marketing technology, CRM, or customer analytics roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. Direct experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), including Real-Time CDP functionality, customer profile management, identity stitching, and activation features. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage a team focused on data-driven marketing enablement. Strong understanding of first-party data use cases, segmentation strategies, identity resolution, and omni-channel activation. Experience collaborating with engineering and analytics teams to operationalize business needs and measurement frameworks. This role requires strong functional and technical Finance Systems background to partner with the Business and have effective discussions driving the capture, transformation, and utilization of Finance data to meet Business goals. The Senior Staff Engineer, Finance Data Specialist will report to the Senior Manager of Finance Data & Analytics and will provide solutions on how to build out, maintain, and support a Finance Data Warehouse/Lake to support FP&A processing and analytics while also supporting the larger Finance organization's need for Finance data. This role will work with multiple Finance and Technology leaders to set the strategy for building out the company's Finance Data Warehouse/Lake to provide a central repository for all Financial related transactions so it can be a reconciled source of truth for processing and the source for Revenue and Expense analytics. The individual in this role will be a key advisor and partner to the Finance Leadership to redesign the way they use their technologies in managing GEICO's business. The Finance Data Specialist is also accountable to support the delivery of technology solutions that will support FP&A Planning/Budgeting, financial reporting, Revenue/Expense Analytics, and the build out of the Finance Data Warehouse to become a reconciled source to allow the GL to become a "thin" ledger. The ideal candidate has deep Finance Systems experience across multiple companies to support deploying best practices, leveraging their broad and deep knowledge of various ERPs (e.g. Oracle; Workday; SAP or PeopleSoft). Prior Financial Systems experience is required, with a deep understanding of the functional and technical aspects of ERP and Data Warehouse systems. POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Director of Customer Data Platform (CDP) to lead the roadmap, enablement, and operational delivery of our enterprise CDP capabilities within the marketing ecosystem. This leader will own marketing's vision and execution for customer profile management, audience segmentation, and activation - enabling real-time personalization, cross-channel targeting, and advanced analytics use cases.

The Director will lead a team of technical subject matter experts and analysts and partner closely with IT, Analytics, and Marketing teams to ensure CDP capabilities are scalable, measurable, and aligned with business priorities. This role will also serve as the primary marketing counterpart to a peer IT Director overseeing platform implementation and technical integration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership & Enablement

  • Own and evolve the CDP roadmap aligned with marketing strategies, customer lifecycle needs, and enterprise data initiatives.

  • Lead strategy and execution for unified customer profile development, audience segmentation, and activation frameworks.

  • Collaborate with IT leaders responsible for identity resolution to ensure marketing needs are reflected in solutions that maximize customer and prospect reach.

  • Translate business needs into actionable use cases and platform capabilities that drive engagement, efficiency, and growth.

  • Ensure ongoing governance of taxonomy, tagging requirements, profile enrichment, and privacy-compliant data activation.

Marketing & Business Partnership

  • Serve as the primary marketing lead for CDP-related initiatives, working cross-functionally to align with CRM and prioritize use cases for activation.

  • Collaborate with a counterpart IT Director to jointly develop technical specifications, solution designs, and implementation plans - with IT owning development and instrumentation.

  • Partner with CRM, media, loyalty, and ecommerce teams to integrate CDP functionality into campaign planning and execution.

  • Work closely with advanced analytics and data science teams to align on customer identity resolution, segmentation strategy, and the activation of machine learning models for use in targeting, personalization, and lifecycle programs.

  • Collaborate with advanced analytics teams to define machine learning use cases and operationalize model outputs within CDP workflows and activation strategies.

Team Leadership & Program Oversight

  • Manage and develop a team of analysts and technical SMEs responsible for data quality, identity stitching, audience logic, and marketing data orchestration.

  • Coordinate closely with engineering, analytics, and enterprise data teams to align on data flows, instrumentation, and customer definitions.

  • Support vendor and platform management by representing marketing's priorities, use cases, and requirements in partnership with IT and Procurement.

  • Champion the use of customer data across the organization through stakeholder engagement, training, and documented best practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing technology, CRM, or customer analytics roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.

  • Direct experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), including Real-Time CDP functionality, customer profile management, identity stitching, and activation features.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage a team focused on data-driven marketing enablement.
