Data Analysts focused on visualization are embedded within client delivery teams to design and develop interactive dashboards and visual analytics solutions that support executive decision-making and operational insight. 
This role is focused on dashboard design, data visualization, and analytics presentation, with an emphasis on delivering clean, intuitive, and scalable reporting solutions. Analysts in this role partner closely with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and Project Managers to ensure dashboards align with business requirements, data definitions, and stakeholder expectations. 
Current client programs may include initiatives involving emissions-related data and environmental metrics, requiring strong attention to accuracy, consistency, and clarity of presentation. This role supports deployment across multiple industries and project types over time. 
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Dashboard Development: Design and develop Power BI dashboards that communicate insights clearly to executive and operational stakeholders. 
  • Visualization Design: Apply data visualization best practices to create intuitive, visually effective reports and dashboards. 
  • Requirements Translation: Translate business and reporting requirements into effective visual designs and dashboard layouts. 
  • Data Collaboration: Partner with Data Engineers to ensure dashboards are built on accurate, well-structured, and validated data. 
  • User Experience Design: Design dashboards with usability, navigation, and stakeholder consumption patterns in mind. 
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI models and visuals for performance and usability. 
  • Validation & Testing: Validate dashboard outputs against source data and business expectations. 
  • Stakeholder Review: Support review sessions with stakeholders and incorporate feedback into dashboard refinements. 
  • Documentation: Document dashboard logic, metrics definitions, and design standards. 
  • Consulting Engagement Support: Operate effectively within a client-facing consulting delivery environment. 
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree required 
  • Preferred fields include Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Data Science, or related disciplines
Required Skills
  • Minimum 3–5+ years of experience in data visualization or dashboard development 
  • Strong expertise in Power BI dashboard development
  • Experience applying data visualization and dashboard design best practices
  • Ability to translate business requirements into visual analytics solutions
  • Strong understanding of data models and analytical concepts
  • Experience working with SQL-based data sources and curated datasets
  • Strong communication skills for presenting insights to business stakeholders
  • Experience delivering solutions in consulting or project-based environments
