The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking Data Migration & Conversion Specialists to support a transformational federal HCM modernization program. This initiative involves migrating HR data from diverse legacy systems to Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM for a large federal civilian workforce. You will extract, transform, and load HR data from legacy platforms including PeopleSoft, mainframe/GOTS systems, and other HRIS solutions. This role requires strong ETL skills, attention to data quality, and understanding of HR data structures. We are seeking specialists with experience in various source systems to join our Data Migration team and ensure successful, high-quality data conversions.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze legacy system data structures and develop data mapping specifications to Oracle Fusion HCM
  • Design and develop ETL processes for extracting data from PeopleSoft, mainframe, and other legacy systems
  • Transform legacy data to conform to Oracle HDL/HSDL file specifications
  • Execute data quality assessments and develop cleansing rules for migration readiness
  • Build and maintain data validation scripts to ensure conversion accuracy
  • Support iterative mock conversions, analyzing results and refining transformation logic
  • Develop reconciliation reports comparing source and target data
  • Document data lineage, transformation rules, and conversion procedures
  • Collaborate with functional teams to resolve data quality issues and mapping decisions
  • Support cutover activities including final data extraction and production loading
  • Create data migration runbooks and operational documentation

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field + 4 years experience (additional experience may substitute)
  • 3+ years experience with data migration or ETL development
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one ETL tool (Informatica, SSIS, Talend, or similar)
  • Experience extracting data from at least one: PeopleSoft, mainframe/COBOL, Workday, or similar HRIS
  • Strong data analysis and quality assessment skills
  • Experience with Oracle HDL or similar bulk data loading tools
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (US Citizenship required)

Desired:

  • 6+ years data migration experience (for Senior/Lead positions)
  • Oracle HCM Cloud data migration experience (HDL, HSDL, PBL)
  • PeopleSoft HCM technical experience
  • Mainframe/COBOL data extraction experience
  • Experience with federal HR data (personnel records, benefits, payroll)
  • Oracle Data Management (DM) Accelerator experience
  • Python, PowerShell, or other scripting for data manipulation
  • Active Secret clearance or higher

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$63,300-$129,700
