As Vice President, Alternative Credit Data Solutions, you will be responsible for product management of multiple alternative credit data product lines. In this global role, you will manage the teams that oversee product management for a diverse set of U.S. and international alternative data credit products. In the United States, you'll be responsible for one of TransUnion's most valuable and unique assets, the short-term lending data bureau. With significant investment, alternative data products globally are poised for growth and innovation. The VP will oversee both owned and third-party data sets and the products that they power for TransUnion customers across diverse markets including Financial Services, Insurance, Media, Telco, Tenant and Employment, and others. This work will include working closely with data acquisition, global technology, and overseeing the management of third-party data provider relationships. This role requires exceptional leadership, product, and program management capabilities. This role will act as a general manager and P&L owner for the STL business, our blended data solutions, and many other alternative data solutions globally. The VP will help evolve fundamental capabilities to manage and create market leading STL and alternative data products that will enable TransUnion's growth within this market segment and beyond. He/she will be the accountable product manager for the STL product lines and manage the product managers who manage the other alternative data products globally. Responsibilities include the entire product development lifecycle from idea generation and voice of customer to go-to-market and ongoing performance monitoring. Impact You'll Make:

The Vice President, Alternative Credit Data is responsible for many of TransUnion's global alternative data solutions in addition to the U.S. Short-Term Lending (STL) products. This role requires exceptional leadership, product, and program management capabilities. This role will act as a general manager and P&L owner for the STL business, our blended data solutions, and many other alternative data solutions globally. The VP will help evolve fundamental capabilities to manage and create market leading STL and alternative data products that will enable TransUnion's growth within this market segment and beyond.

He/she will be the accountable product manager for the STL product lines and manage the product managers who manage the other alternative data products globally. Responsibilities include the entire product development lifecycle from idea generation and voice of customer to go-to-market and ongoing performance monitoring. They will also be responsible for managing strategic relationships with key industry partners that enable Credit Risk Solutions to fulfill its mission.

  • Ensure commercial success of the portfolio of alternative data solutions by working in close partnership with Sales, Markets, Global Technology, Analytics, TransUnion's management team and other matrix partners

  • Lead Product Management (with the help of 2 FTEs) for the short-term lending bureau while managing global product managers for other alternative data products and blended scores and attributes (popular models that use both traditional and alternative data)

  • Create and manage the short-term lending platform strategy including backlog management, ongoing platform support, and platform sunset strategies

  • Define the overall resource needs of the business across solutions, technology, compliance, analytics, and operations

  • Develop, own, and execute multiple global product development roadmaps with the help of the dedicated product managers

  • Manage existing products, including in-market alternative and blended attributes and scores, their efficacy and revenue plans

  • Direct a team of Product Managers to realize your product vision

  • Drive go-to-market activities, develop and own platform KPIs, customer feedback, and the competitive landscape to identify gaps, weaknesses and opportunities in any part of product and platform delivery

  • Assess global opportunity to stand up similar solutions across international regions

  • Work across all global markets to prioritize top use cases to address and determine new markets to enter, negotiate terms, and complete GTM, incentive alignment and sales training

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $193,500.00 - $406,500.00 *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
