  • Lead efforts to collect and translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable data solutions.
  • Drive the creation and maintenance of source-to-target mapping (STTM) documentation, ensuring data lineage, integrity, and reusability.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, modelers, and data engineers to validate functional and technical requirements.

Governance & Contracts

  • Define and operationalize data contracts—establishing clear expectations for data availability, quality, and ownership.
  • Ensure metadata, lineage, and data definitions are maintained in governance tools such as Microsoft Purview or Collibra.
  • Embed stewardship and quality practices into all product and non-product data deliverables.

Team & Delivery Management

  • Lead a team of data product managers and analysts with a pragmatic, outcome-driven approach.
  • Oversee delivery in agile or hybrid delivery environments, partnering closely with Data Engineering, Architecture, and Business Intelligence teams.
  • Involved with interviewing and hiring decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver employee performance evaluations, goal planning, and counselings.
  • Manage, support, coach and train staff.
  • Treat people with respect; keep commitments; inspire the trust of others; work ethically and with integrity; uphold organizational values; accept responsibility for own actions.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Risk, Technology, and Compliance teams, ensuring business value and trust in data delivery.
  • Balance competing priorities while aligning efforts to enterprise strategy and compliance needs.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to EEO policy; shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; educates others on the value of diversity; promotes working environment free of harassment of any type; builds a diverse workforce and supports affirmative action.
  • Follows policies and procedures; completes tasks correctly and on time; supports the company’s goals and values.
  • Performs the position safely, without endangering the health or safety to themselves or others and will be expected to report potentially unsafe conditions. The employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations and orders issued pursuant to the OSHA Act of 1970, which are applicable to one’s own actions and conduct.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 7+ years in data leadership roles including product management, data architecture, or business analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience working in financial services or banking, with a strong understanding of finance and regulatory data needs.
  • Expertise in documenting business requirements, data mappings, and translating between business and technical teams.
  • Experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, dbt, and metadata/governance tools like Microsoft Purview or Collibra.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, contracts, and data quality frameworks.

HOW WE’LL SUPPORT YOU
