Summary: The Integrated Science Program seeks an Adjunct faculty member to teach one sectionScience 225, Integrated Earth and Life Science for teachers. Summary:  The Integrated Science Program seeks an Adjunct faculty member to teach one sectionScience 225, Integrated Earth and Life Science for teachers. Responsibilities:  Teach one section of SCI 225 Fall 2025 (3 credits). Curriculum is established by department. Duties include setting up and cleaning up experiments and teaching aids for your section of class. Hold a minimum of one office hour per week and be reasonably available to meet with students.

Salary/Benefits: Starting salary is $1000 per credit hour and depends on educational degree and number of years taught at GVSU. Department/College:  The Integrated Science Program at Grand Valley State University is a collaboration between Biology, Geology, Chemistry and Physics to prepare preservice teachers at the primary and secondary levels. Its 10 full-time faculty teach six courses in the Pedagogical Content Knowledge for Elementary Teaching (PCKET) major and eight courses in the Science Secondary Education major. This interdisciplinary collaboration enjoys the support of the science departments. In supporting students, faculty have opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across the university, especially in the PCKET program and the College of Education and Community Innovation.
