Accountabilities
- Lead the design and implementation of shared, reusable data models.
- Drive standardization of data engineering practices across teams.
- Partner with Data Infrastructure to modernize orchestration.
- Architect and implement a shift-left data governance strategy.
- Collaborate with Data Science leads to translate metric definitions.
- Reduce operational burden by improving pipeline observability.
- Evaluate and integrate AI-native tooling into the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
- 2+ years of SQL experience, including performance optimization.
- 8+ years of Python development experience.
- Expertise in dimensional data modeling and scalable data architecture.
- Strong experience with orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Ability to drive cross-team technical alignment effectively.
