Description:
This position will apply advanced analytics, data science techniques, and visualization tools to transform complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

Primary Duties:
  • Leads the development and implementation of advanced techniques and analytics applications to transform raw data into actionable insights using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. 
  • Oversees the application of data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. 
  • Guides the visualization, interpretation, and reporting of data findings, ensuring clear communication of insights. 
  • May also oversee the creation of dynamic data reports to support strategic decision-making. 
  • Supports and guides junior staff and collaborates with senior team members in applying analytical techniques and methodologies to enhance project outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
Education and Experience: A BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science. MS degree preferred. 7 years of relevant data analytics experience.

The following certifications are required: Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate, and Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate.

Clearance:
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $148,000.
