Your Job Will Include

Leadership & Team Coordination

  • Oversee a team of 1-2 housekeepers, providing direction, training, and daily task assignments.
  • Review daily rental checkout reports and schedule cleaning of cabins, bathhouses, and common areas accordingly.
  • Monitor quality of work performed by housekeeping staff to ensure high standards are consistently met.
  • Support a positive, team-focused work environment with open communication.

Housekeeping Duties

  • Clean cabins and rentals to prepare for new guests, ensuring all spaces meet resort standards.
  • Clean resort office, clubhouse, public areas, bathhouses, and other shared spaces by mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and removing trash.
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas and amenities throughout the day.

Administrative & Reporting Responsibilities

  • Pull and review rental cabin checkout and arrival reports to coordinate daily cleaning schedules.
  • Track inventory of cleaning supplies and order replenishments as needed.
  • Report maintenance concerns in cabins, bathhouses, and public areas to management promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to housekeeping tasks and schedules.

Guest Service & Resort Support

  • Assist the Resort Manager in responding to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Address guest issues or concerns with a patient, problem-solving attitude.
  • Assist with cleanup following resort-sponsored guest events and activities.
  • Drive a motorized vehicle for errands or supply pick-up as needed.
  • Work closely with management and other staff to ensure coordinated, efficient resort operations.

Experience & Skills You Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of housekeeping experience; previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and oversee a small team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
