Performs or assists patient with personal care activities as prescribed in the plan of care, including but not limited to hygiene, mobility and elimination. If unable to perform a certain task, reports to the RN or Director of Clinical Services immediately. Practices Universal Infection Control Precautions in all contacts with patients. Performs or assists patient/family with home maintenance activities as prescribed in the care plan, including but not limited to light housekeeping and meal preparation. Practices safe transfer, ambulation, normal range of motion and positioning techniques. Respects the autonomy and right to confidentiality of all patients and families. Document scare provided and response of consumer/family. Submits documentation in a timely manner. Performs within the limits of preparation and experience. Ensures compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations and established agency policies and procedures. You will help design and implement standards for machine learning used in the robotics industry. Prior experience with machine learning is preferred.Location: Our headquarters is in the North Hills area of Pittsburgh, PA. This role is a hybrid position with regular visits to the client location in Homestead, occasional visits to our headquarters, and otherwise remote.Technical skills:
  • 7+ years of experience in software development
  • Proficient with one or more modern languages (C++, C#, Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Java, etc.)
  • Strong experience developing for robotics and control systems (e.g., motion control, navigation, path planning)
  • Experience developing algorithms for and integration of sensors (e.g., GPS, IMU, LiDAR, cameras, encoders and other IO)
  • Experience with localization techniques such as SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping)
  • Experience with simulation tools and technologies (e.g. Gazebo, Omniverse)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation (unit and integration tests)
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure
  • Familiarity with using Terraform and Docker to setup, deploy, and run code
Other expectations:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • Function as an individual contributor to break down, define, estimate, design, and complete stories with minimal technical oversight as a member of a team
  • Deliver quality solutions to clients, closely adhering to accepted definitions of done and operating with an attitude of excellence
