Job Description

Very flexible positions exist within Court Administration.  We are seeking part-time hires as tipstaff who will have work assignments in the courtroom, in an office, or both.  Essential duties may include confirming presence of all litigants and counsel for scheduled proceedings, opening court, swearing in witnesses, preparing paperwork, managing and preparing case files, assisting with jury selection and jury trials, assisting with copying and faxing as needed, and supporting Court Administration as necessary.

Requirements

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED. Some work experience preferred, strong customer service orientation; demonstrated accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills; highly proficient interpersonal relations and communications skills; ability to work with all skills and backgrounds; and maturity to maintain confidential information.

Benefits
